Privacy Policy

Who we are

PawPilot is operated by Ayva Labs Limited, a Hong Kong company. This policy explains what data PawPilot collects, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Account info: name (optional) and email when you sign up.
  • Pet profiles: name, species, breed, age, weight, photos, and care history you choose to add.
  • AI conversation content: text and photos you submit to the AI chat, symptom checker, photo scan, training, or vaccine card features.
  • Device & usage data: push notification tokens, app version, OS, and anonymous usage metrics.
  • Purchase history: subscription state (managed through Apple App Store and Google Play; we never see your card number).
  • Location (optional): only when you tap "Find Nearby" — used at that moment, never stored.

How we use it

  • To provide the app — answer your questions about your pet, store your records, sync across devices.
  • To improve the app — fix bugs, ship new features, prioritize what users actually use.
  • To send important emails — verification, password resets, subscription receipts. We do not send marketing emails.
  • To validate purchases — Apple/Google receipt data is checked server-side via RevenueCat to grant Pro entitlements.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share your pet's photos or chat content with advertisers.
  • We do not train models on your private data without explicit, future, opt-in consent. (We currently use third-party AI models — see "AI providers" below.)

AI providers

When you use AI features (chat, symptom check, photo scan, training), your input is processed by third-party AI services (currently Google Gemini) to generate a response. These providers receive only what's needed to answer the prompt — your pet's name and relevant context. Photo and text content are not stored long-term by these providers under their standard terms.

Data retention

Your pet data and account stay until you delete your account. You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes all associated data within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, PDPO), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email support@ayvalabs.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

PawPilot is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll notify you in-app or by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.
